Our main practice is based on Park Avenue in the heart of Aberystwyth, with ample parking at Tesco and Matalan and great public transport links. From here we continue to see consultations by appointment, dispense medication, and our team of friendly staff will welcome your pets and any enquiries you may have. This site is currently undergoing large renovations in order to improve facilities and modernise the practice.

Our new, purpose-built facility on Glan Yr Afon Industrial Estate has been welcoming patients through its doors since March 2022. Whilst our main surgery in Aberystwyth town undergoes modernisation and renovation, we knew we needed somewhere local where we could hospitalise and treat your beloved pets. Unit 17 does just this!

At just a few miles out of town we are able to accommodate your pets should they require treatment outside of a consultation. We provide separate cat and dog wards to reduce stress for your companion animals while they are away from home. Our building can accomodate your equine and farm animals too when treatment or surgery on your premises is not possible or optimal. We have 2 stables and a yard area for this purpose.

We have a fully equipped, clean and bright operating theatre to offer our patients the very best in both elective and emergency surgical interventions. Patient safety is maximised using a multi parameter monitor to provide us with valuable information on your pet’s vital signs and depth of anaesthesia. Also within theatre we have a digital X-Ray machine where images can be processed and viewed in seconds.

We boast all the veterinary ‘mod-cons’ one would hope to see at a clinic from ultrasound and dental machines, blood pressure monitors and fluid infusion pumps through to the latest addition to our diagnostic tools; the flexible endoscope!

We know that our significant investment in Unit 17 will ensure we are able to provide the best care possible to your pet as well as a quiet and comfortable stay for them, if and when the need arises.
